An Inter Corporate Swimming Championship

The mercury is steadily rising and 104.8 FM is going to help all those fun-loving corporate executives “Beat the Heat”.
CHENNAI LIVE 104.8 FM presents the coolest event for this summer: Beat the Heat – anInter Corporate Swimming Championship in the month of May. The event is open for all corporate executives, both men and women.
The event will cover 8 categories including 25M Freestyle, 50M Freestyle, 25M Backstroke, 25M Breaststroke for both Men & Women. Also there will be 200 M Freestyle for Men.

There are individual prizes for all winners apart from the CHENNAI LIVE 104.8 FM Team Championship trophy, which will be presented to the corporate that wins the maximum number of races. There is the much coveted CHENNAI LIVE 104.8 FM Best Cheering Team trophy for the team which cheers the best. Also a Best Employer Award will be presented to the corporate house that sends the maximum number of employees for participation. The Corporate world looks for refreshing breaks, especially those which help reduce stress and swimming is the perfect stress buster and is refreshing in the heat!

The event also coincides with World Anti Tobacco Day, emphasizing the need to say no to cigarettes to develop better stamina and healthy living.
The event is set to happen in the last week of May and registrations are open till 14 th of May 2010.
